THE MAKING OF OUR ISO-THEMED ARTISTRY SERIES COLLECTION
2020. What a year. So many hugs to all the brave people out there. To document this moment in time, we wanted to create a collection of pop art themed vases that reflected items that have helped us to get through isolation thus far. They are lots of fun and we hope you love them as much as we've enjoyed creating them.
Meet Jamie - artist extraordinaire! Jamie has been at Lovestar for the last 3 years and is the most amazingly talented artist. After finishing College at the end of last year, Jamie has been working full-time at Lovestar and boy have we been lucky to have her. We love you Jamie!
Jamie has lovingly hand-painted every single one of these special vases.
I gave Jamie some questions to answer about life in general and the creation of the collection. Here is what she had to say....
When commencing this project, the first vase that came to mind was the 'Stay Exotic' vase. I binge-watched the whole Tiger King series in 2 days! I just couldn't stop! Yes, it's trashy, but it's good, 'can't look away' kind of trashy! My husband even got into it, and he hates those kinds of shows!
Whilst I am a die-hard coffee fan, I also enjoy a good cup of tea. My obsession over the years has risen and fallen, but during #iso it's remained at an all time high. My tea of choice at the moment is this delightful Rainbow Chai tea (the packaging got me - I do love a rainbow!).
They also sell it in teabag form, but I prefer loose leaf where possible. I drink my Chai black as I love to taste those lovely flavours - cardamon, cinnamon, ginger, clove, nutmeg and black pepper. These flavours seem to hit the spot and are just what I feel like right now.
Here are some fun photos of more of the finished vases.

I hope you love the collection and have a giggle. Sending you all so much love and hugs in this extraordinary time.
